Директор Британско-белорусской торговой палаты в Минске Мэл Роджерс пообещал, что встречи будут регулярными – каждый последний понедельник месяца.

One of the factors that is responsible for assisting the rapid growth of the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance-linked investments market in recent years is global investors continuing shift towards alternative asset classes.

Globally, institutional investors, such as pension funds, endowments and foundations, sovereign wealth funds, insurers and cash-rich corporates, have been pouring capital into alternative asset classes as they look for sources of return which complement their strategies and bring certain qualities to their portfolios.

As an agency the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) is instituting a very different model when it comes to marketing our jurisdiction. The approach taken by our predecessor organisations revolved mostly around domicile brand building, awareness and marketing. While this was fine, particularly during boom times, when the world of jurisdictional competitiveness increased and the global recession started to kick in, the model of generic marketing was found to be wanting.

С началом 2014 года украинская экономика вошла в очередной этап развития. Естественно, немаловажную роль в этом сыграла политическая ситуация в стране. Большие изменения также коснулись украинского страховщика. Значительные потери валового дохода, проблемы с иностранными акционерами и изменения регуляторной политики страхового рынка стали определяющими трендами.

Не секрет, что страховая отрасль напрямую связана банковским сектором. Можно сказать, эти два направления формируют львиную долю финансового сектора украинской экономики. Чем лучше страховщик сотрудничает с банками, тем больше он имеет поступлений страховых премий и соответственно валового дохода и прибыли.

Received in my office today Mr. Kirril Savrassov, CEO of Phoenix CRetro Reinsurance Company and CEO of British -Belarus Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Savrassov showed an interest in entering the Iraqi Insurance Market through local partners as well as corporation between the British-Belarus Chamber of Commerce and the Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.

At the end of the meeting, I promised Mr. Savrassov the Embassy’s full support to any efforts which result in the development of the bilateral relations between Iraq and Belarus.

 

استقبلت في مكتبي اليوم السيد كيريل سافراسوف, المدير التنفيذي لشركة فوينكس سي ريترو لخدمات اعادة التامين ومقرها لندن ورئيس غرفة التجارة البريطانية البيلاروسية. ابدى السيد سافراسوف رغبة كبيرة للدخول الى سوق التامين في العراق من خلال ايجاد شركاء عراقيين وايضا ايجاد تعاون بين غرفة التجارةالبريطانية البيلاروسية والغرف التجارية في العراق.

في نهاية اللقاء اكدت للسيد سافراسوف دعم السفارة له من اجل خلق تعاون يصب في مصلحة تطوير العلاقات العراقية – البيلاروسية.

And Mr. Hadi”s Farewell message on leaving his post in Belarus:

On the occasion of finishing my post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq in the Republic of Belarus which started in June 2010 and returing to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad, I give my Gratidute and Appreciation to the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Minsk for the support they provided me, always working as a team in order to improve the performance of the Embassy.

I also would like to thank the Iraqi community in Belarus which mostly consist of students for their continous support to teh Embassy in order to be able to provide the best service for them.

My gratiute reaches out to the Belarusian officials for their support and hospitality during my stay in Minsk and the contnious support to help develop the bilateral relations between Iraq and Belarus which had some positive development over the past few years especially the official visits of Belarus Foreign Minister Valdimir Makei to Baghdad in August 2014 and Iraq Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Alasheker Aljafari to Minsk in April 2015 which considered the first visits of the two Foreign Ministers to Baghdad and Minsk since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1997.

I wish for the Iraqi community to continue with its support to the Embassy staff inorder to help them provide the best service for them.

Finally, I wish I was able to do my job properly during the past five years.

В сегодняшних условиях украинские страховщики, как и все остальные финансовые учреждения Украины, столкнулись с проблемой недополучения запланированных доходов. 

Закрытие бизнеса в Крыму, ситуация с Луганской и Донецкой областью, все это повлияло на финансовое состояние участников страхового рынка. К примеру, компании из ТОП-10 только от потери Крыма могут недополучить приблизительно 4% портфеля или суммарно 150 млн. грн., что является существенной суммой для субъектов страхового рынка. Поэтому в таких условиях все большую актуальность приобретает поиск альтернативных источников доходов для украинских страховщиков.
